Looking for the best mountain bike trails in Australia? Best get yourself to Blue Derby, Tasmania!

These trails are without doubt worth travelling for. Don't believe us? No worries, check out the movies the Flow boys and others have put together on the region. What are you waiting for?

With over 80 km of green, blue & black trails, there's something for everyone, no matter your skill or interest. The Blue Tier Wilderness Trail is an epic wilderness trail and starts with a 60 minute shuttle to the Blue Tier. But don't forget the Atlas trail and the looped trails of Derby, including the option to shuttle to Black Stump Junction, with 4 trails! Check out  / MADMTB page for excellent shuttle & ride descriptions. 

Please note - you can ride over 40km of trails around derby WITHOUT the need to get a shuttle. (Total network = 75km)

Derby General Store & Providore
Derby Post Office - has milk, bread and a great range of corner store basics. Also has Derby merch and holiday items to purchase! 

If you need any last minute things, stop at the Branxholm before you get to Derby or on your way to Weldborough.  Scottsdale is you last big services town if you need anything major including a Woolworths supermarket which is at 7 Victoria St Scottsdale, TAS, 7260.


Derby Servo  Monday to Friday 8 am - 5 pm and Saturday morning.  Has bottled gas and refills.
Derby General Store & Providore has a self serve 24 hour option too.
