Wild Mersey MTB Trails - note - this page is under construction
Stage 1 is open at Warrawee, just south of Latrobe!
Click on the maps to open in Google maps. The trail head is at the end of Shale Rd. Showers and toilets are currently being built here.
There are fifteen kilometres of trails at the northern end of the network in the Warrawee Reserve at Latrobe, providing a first glimpse of Wild Mersey with predominantly green and blue tracks and one black as a taster of things to come.
The trails are a mixture of purpose built single track, with old bush trails joining them up. Because of this and a lack of signage (when crossing these tracks) you may get lost. Be warned! We'll work on a map in the coming weeks to help.
The trails currently suit beginners really well, part from the blue and black trails. Laughing Gear can be attempted, with caution.
There are maps and trail name signs throughout, but take note of above comment!
Water - no
Mobile phone reception - yes
Toilets - under construction
Bike wash - under construction

NOTE - The following trails finish on Shale Road. You need to head north (turn right) along the road until you get back to carpark / trail head so you can ascend the Bee Line to top the of trail network. See maps
